Thinking about buying a RL...trying to buy under 30k. Any year should I avoid? What to look for? Hopefully will be a certified Acura. Any advise would be appreciated.

Get this car. It is probably the best RL out there. It probably has $20K of mods. It is worth it for the suspension and wheels alone!

There is no year you should avoid. With a budget of $30k, you might be able to get into a 2007. You could save lots of money and get a 2005 or 2006 for the high teens (2005 high-mileage) to low 20s (low mileage 2005s and moderate mileage 2006s).

 

tell me what you think. A Acura dealer by the house will give me a 06 Rl black on black ..certified 29k miles for 25,800 dollars before taxes title and license. It was a lease car. Car is pretty clean looking. Couple of scratches the dealer said they would take care and one of the steering controls has a scratch on it(which I can live with I guess). I also requested updated Nav disc. Your opinions greatly appreciated.

I purchased mine in December which is an 05 with 10K more miles on it and paid only about $4K less for it. I think it is a good deal with clean car fax etc.

Oh and you won't be disappointed with the black on black color combo, other than it needs washing a lot.
