Touge's RL is for sale again! Good to see it.

SOMEONE BUY IT and bring it back to its rightful home on AZ.

Edit: The dealer knows what they are selling, they have a link to Touge's YouTube video.

Again!?!?! Wonder what their "buy it now" price is?

Actually, both touges and ambiguous's RLs were inspirations to me.

B T W......Does anyone know what ever happened to ambiguous?????

I'd like to tell him that I actually bought my RL because of the photos of his AMAZING RL, and use "Turtle wax ICE" and "Final Lustre" because of him on my proudly owned RL. That stuff is unbelievable! Just amazing.

I wish to thank him.

:0, that's a pretty good price, considering all the mods he has on it.

They did not do a very good job of describing it, I bet I could sell it faster than they can.

they are selling it for $40,000!!! i mean ive watched that video of his before, and loved it. but wow, 40k for this car seems about 10-12k too much. I don wonder how much they gave him for it, id bet 25k tops.

is it just me, or do others think its ridiculous how much they want for it?!

i am in the market for a car....but man, not at that price.

I'll bet they want *at least* 28 for it. The price you see is the "reserve not met' price. WITHOUT his add ons and with those miles, (and being a 06) they could easily ask min $28,000. My 06 had 30,000 Mi, and my dealer was asking $27,500 - imaculate/lease turn in and certified. Not what I gave them though.

It would be interesting to see what the dealer price is for his add ons. (history has shown that adding "stuff" to your car that is not installed buy the factory, doesnt help the final price, especially from a dealer and in this market). Some buyers dont care about add-ons, or at least shouldnt act like they do (Of course, we are probably different) and dealers just want to get cars off their lots ASAP ($$). Most only look at black book value, and I dont think there is a "added on" options price. SAD.

Someone WILL pick up a sweet deal here, and we'll more than likely see them on this board within a few months.

the reason why it has 21k and listed as one owner is because when i asked Sam about it, he said the owner of an Acura dealer in Pa, purchased the car without even seeing it in person. He said he just sent him the money and sent a tow truck to pick up the car. My guess would be the owner of the Dealership just drove the car around as to advertise for Acura and his dealership(s). i think SAM sold it for $40K+

...and at the time, it was a well-spent $40k. Best. RL. Ever. If I hadn't just purchased a V.......

It is a beauty car, but the street racer add-ons in the cabin are going to limit the market, I'd guess.

What wheels are those Touge has/had on there?

If it had an ebony interior and I could get it for under $30k, I'd think about it. Really sweet car and very low miles.....

Awesome. Acura of West Chester is my dealer that I use. I was just down there on Friday and saw this Awesome RL and i was going all over it. It is funny that it is the car that everyone is talking about. It is in awesome shape and is nicely done.

imo too much money for a car that is 3 years old now, and the RL is the fastest depreciating ACURA.

If I made a little more $ I would buy this car w/o thinking. The amount of mods and the insane quality on the mods is ++++

I just visited the dealer's site and made an offer - for the right price, I would go get that car next weekend!

Just got off the phone with them...I spoke to Suzi who said she spoke with her used car manager, but here's the deal: it is not certified pre-owned (they said because of the mods) I told her I'd buy it today for $28k.

She said that they are into it for $38k and if they don't get at least that, it'll be sent to the auction.

She also said that it had been the owner's personal daily driver for a couple years, hence how it went from 7k miles to over 21k.

What is BS imo is that when trading in/selling a car with mods (I had an IS300 5-speed with very tasteful and professionally-installed mods prior to my RL), the dealer tells you that the car is worth less with the mods and that they can't give any extra value for them. However when I was speaking with Suzi, she kept saying that the car has so many mods that it is totally worth $40k...I told her that I have never gotten strong value in a trade on a modded car - and Bob's mint RL is another perfect example of that - nonetheless, they weren't willing to budge on the price.

It's apparently sitting right on the dealership floor for whoever is ready to pony up $40 large.

What a sick car - It's too bad I just can't justify that much $ for an 06 RL without a CPO warranty...there are too many other cars, like a 335 that I would take for $40k.

Let her know that you hope she sells it for what they're asking but she can call you when they're ready to sell it for less. Confirm when it went on sale at the dealer: 45 days later, it will leave (since they consign used cars, now), so you want to call them at Day 40 with your offer, again.

Major props for trying! $40k is unrealistic.

Hello, long time lurker. First time poster.

I've been watching the used RL market for a few months hoping to pick up a sweet deal. When Touge's old RL showed up, I got excited and started to research it.

I've waited a little bit to see if another post will come up... but haven't. So here it is:

http://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistory...11185&zipCode=

03/11/2007 New York
Police Report Accident reported
CARFAX began reporting information from this source on 08/06/2007.

Just wanted to make sure the interested purchasers are aware of it's history. I'm sure the car is still beautiful and I still want it! Too bad they aren't willing to budge on the price very much.

Other than their crazy asking price, my deal breaker would be no warranty. I need a warranty while im making car payments (7/100,000 mi).

Hmmmm.....hopefully it wasn't a bad accident. The car looks to be in immaculate shape.
At this point, only the unsuspecting will pay almost $40k.

The auction was ended early, anyway.

Any buyers?

Well I checked out the dealership's website and it looks like it's still for sale. I'm so tempted to drive up there and trade in my 04 TL or my wife's 06 TSX. The funny thing is, I would probably get no more than blue book for either cars even though they are both A-spec'd out with Ronjon's on both. I'm wondering how much longer before the price comes down?

Still for sale, huh? I'm still hoping someone gets it at a reasonable price.
