Temple of VTEC track tests RL

http://www.vtec.net/articles/view-ar...icle_id=424790

I didn't see this was posted, so I thought I'd share. The videos outline Shaun and crew's feelings about both the RL and the Ridgeline.

cliff's notes:
The RL had more understeer than expected, but otherwise the SH-AWD performed to expectations.
The stock tires sucked in autocross (duh!)
The RL's transmission shifted too slowly--sounds like the same criticism in the TL.
Even so, it looked fun!
Note during the RL lap video (#4), you can barely hear engine noise, while in the Ridgeline (and in the old TL video from 2 years ago BTW) the engine noise is LOUD. What a difference noise deadening makes, eh?

The Ridgeline was the big surprise of their testing--they felt it handled a lot like a car and might have done a little better with a sport shifter.

Enjoy!

Those are great videos! And you were right, you can tell the sound difference between the ridgeline and the RL pretty easily - it is impressive. I wonder how the new pilot sounds - it has ANC like the RL.
