Hissing? I hear a faint whining sound that varies as I add power. This leads me to believe it has something to do with slop in the drive train. I have recorded it using my PPC but I'll have to do it again on a quiet road.

Where does it seem to come from?

As for the sound over 70mph...I dont know if I'd be able to tell since the car is too loud. heh

yeah, maybe its more of a whining sound. it seems quite loud whenever i step on the gas and go over 70 mph and once i release the gas and go back under 70, the sound becomes less noticeable. I need to turn the music pretty loud to cover that up.

Just make sure you have an easily reproduced 'recipe' for the noise and get a service writer to come with you to demonstrate. I've decided to give it a little more time and see it it's something that'll disappear in say another 1000 miles. I'm afraid not but I'm also afraid what'll happen when they start taking apart the drive train. Shudder.
