Tein Flex Z

Does anyone have experience with the Tein Flex Z coilovers? I am planning on purchasing them along with new wheels and tires. I daily my RL so I’m not looking to slam it just lower about .75-1.5 inches.

If anyone is running Tein Flex Z’s: How is the ride? (both on stiffest and softest settings) How difficult is the install? Are the rear units a coil over or separate spring and shock?

Thanks!

I answered your PM. The do ride a bit firm. Installation is very straight forward and the included directions are reasonably explained. The rear is a separate spring and shock.

If you can find Acura's own A-Spec springs, they lower the ride 0.75 inch at a moderate but not punishing sacrifice in ride quality. I paired those with KYB shocks after the A-Spec shocks that accompanied the springs eventually rattled the fillings out of my molars over every pothole and expansion strip on the road.

I should take you for a ride in the F, you'll know what rattling the fillings out of your molars really means
