Haven't done this yet on my RL, but it should be a easy affair. On 4 piston calipers like ours you don't have to remove the caliper. There are two pins. Remove those and the old pads will come out. Use a piston compressor and then pop in the new pads.

I've done 3 sets in the front. It's kind of funny that the rear brakes are still original. Anyway, it takes about 15 minutes to get the job done.

There's a cotter key in the back of the caliper that needs to be removed, then push the pins out, remove the outside pad, squeeze the inside pad with a couple of big ass pliers to push the piston back in, throw some graphite junk on the new pads install and make sure the holes line up in the pins so you can get the cotter key through, then stick the "V" part of the key in the little hole in the back of the caliper and you're done. Simple.

DON'T buy Green Stuff EBC pads, unless you like TONS of BLACK BRAKE DUST that will cover every square inch of your rims. I'm going back to Honda brakes after this set burn off.

Correction: Don't remove outside pad prior to pushing all pistons back using equal pressure on both sides with big ass pliers (big channel locks).

Make sure to compress all 4 pistons simultaneously and equally.

I have no problem with them other than the very excessive brake dust. They do come with a good break-in coating, which almost sent me into the rear end of another car, but after 50 miles it was fine. There's a very slight squeal to them, but not unbearable. The braking is about the same as Honda's, but then I'm not racing and slamming on the brakes hard either. I thought I'd give them a chance since they were about half the price as Honda pads. I might try some pads I saw on tirerack.com.
