I ran a reader and crank position sensor was my only issue, so I replaced it with a new one. Still goes into limp mode, wont go over 3k rpm and shuts off while idling or just casual driving and takes minutes to start back up. The VSA light comes on with it as well and I’m not sure why, maybe a bad wheel bearing? That sensor was $220 and I’m extremely annoyed it didn’t change a thing.

Im hoping after putting some miles on it after changing the sensor it’ll relearn, but who knows. Anyone else have suggestions or encountered this issue? I love this car, definitely don’t wanna get rid of it.

 

Did you clear the error codes post-swap?

I suspect if it's not a bad battery(!) it's a connection problem in the wiring loom - corrosion, possibly.
