Shopping for an RL

Hi guys,

I am a current TL owner, looking to possibly upgrade to an RL. I found a few at my local dealer and was wondering what you owners though.

#1 http://www.acuraofreno.com/used/Acur...6ffa411ec4.htm

#2 http://www.acuraofreno.com/used/Acur...c83e05467b.htm

#3 http://www.acuraofreno.com/used/Acur...05d28e1d48.htm

Only # 2 is cpo, but all can be made cpo (under 80 K miles). I worry about paying on a car for 5 yrs, with so many miles. I know the cars are reliable, but the electronics can be questionable. Please give me your hones feedback as to the best purchase.

thanks,
Jason

the 2006

Not only does it have black interior, but it has the aspec kit/wheels (aspec suspension maybe?) and some issues were worked out in 06.

No brainer there. Go get it.

I'd be tempted to go with the '06 but would definitely check to see what the 17 records in the history report involved.

The #2 car also looks good and only has 5 records. The records or lack of, could indicate that the '05 hasn't had many of the bugs fixed that were common to first year models.

If you can, get an 06 over an 05.

I'd get the 2006 even with the number of miles. The RL is proven to withstand the miles pretty well.

17 records in Carfax can include service records. Check the Carfax, it's worth the small investment if you are serious about looking. (Use Autocheck in addition, Carfax and Autocheck get slightly different info).

Thanks neruonbob and others for the info.

Well, I went out today, kicked tires, checked out all 3 cars. The 06 is very nice, few nicks here and there, smelled like new. The 05 cpo w/55K miles, nice, very clean and the 05 w/77 K miles was a (can you believe it) 1 owner by a little old lady (not kidding, laughed at the salesmen). All were really actually nice, and I would consider owning any of them as long as the were cpo. My really big question is if I were to buy #'s 1,2 or 3, what should I expect a fair price, with the economy mind you, that I should pay for each?

Thanks,

Jason

P.S. neuronbob are you are neurologist or neurosurg, just curious?
