I'm looking to move out of a G2 Legend Coupe to a G2 RL. Anything I should be looking out for as year, options, price? I'd like to be at no more than 65K as far as mileage and like the tech package. I think 2006, second year of the G2 is my target.

Basically any real issues I should look for when test driving?

 

If you're looking for a 2006, then you may want to ask whether the propeller shaft has been replaced, and listen for a whirring noise. Make sure you check the front door handles to make sure they actually open the car with the keyless system....these RLs go through door handles like water. Other than that, no really big problems with this car. They are truly reasonably priced used and one of my options is to purchase another. Just waiting for the used market to drop a little further....

I think you could find a 2006 with 50k+ mi for $21k or less. Just a suggested price to aim for.

 

I bought mine for about 21K with about 50k miles on it without Tech Package. It's a great car I made the switch from a 06 530I and don't regret it.

 

I'm about to sell my 2006 Acura RL with 52k miles. Black on black, without tech package. I bought it in fall '09 and still has balance of certified pre-owned warranty. I'm planning on taking it to Carmax and a couple of other places to get appraised and I'll let you know what they offer me to give you an idea. Or you could always just buy mine....
