Hi everyone,

My 2010 RL just started experiencing some sensor lights coming on (ACC / CMBS & Air Bag). I can't seem to find a pattern as to when they come on - buts its soon after I start my car. The warnings remain on.

I remember a few years ago the sensors were triggered when my front grill was dirty / covered with snow / dirt - but that is not the issue now.

Any guesses? I don't have an Acura dealership in my town so getting service is a little challenging at times.

If you have your original battery it could be going bad. When they do it causes weird electronic messages. I once had low oil level warning.

 

How old is the battery?

 

If neither of those work, try the battery.

I guess its possible that its the battery. I am pretty sure its the original with the car. Weird. That said, I have noticed that my steering wheel does not seem to be adjusting automatically and that the doors are not locking by touching the handle as much.

I will try to replace the battery and will let you know.

Not weird; very common actually. Telescoping steering wheel issues are a dead give away. The sensor lights are mostly hit but sometime a miss.
