So i finally convinced a friend of mine that owns a custom car shop to fabricate a roof wing for my RL. I'm gonna drop off the car most likely the second week of january so they can get to work. I told them i wanted it to be similar to the bmw/mercedes style ones. like this.


It should take him a day or two to complete and i will post up pictures as soon as they are available. I told him that if he did a good job you guys would be interested so he'll be giving it his all. i'll keep you guys updated! He's charging me $450 for the whole job which is not bad considering he's gonna fab it up and paint it.

how would it effect air flow and drag, noise etc... i really want lighted door sills (cool blue light ACURA logo)

I've been looking since last feb. Never seen that! But that looks like it sticks up a lil high.

Sorry bro, but it's good to have choices. Sadly the pics of that spoiler are poor. It's definitely a RL, so it's real, but other than that they're crap. I almost thought the car had a crappy Pontiac style trunk mounted luggage rack from the reflection on the trunk. Sarona's website has the same pics.

Im gonna have to call sarona or go by there cause the pictures really do it no justice. plus i cant tell if it goes flush to the glass or just sticks on from the sides. I need a lot of contact on the glass for the adhesive if not my bass will make it come loose.

 

ok i contacted sarona today and they told me it will take them 14 days to make one cause they are out of stock( personally i think they are made after order is place) and they are fiberglass. Im gonna have mine custom made for sure the second week of january. Stay tuned!
