Seatbelt Sensor? Under dash fuse panel? Is the stealership trying to rip me off?

I got a 2006 RL and just recently the car has started alarming the seat belt ding even though I am wearing my seatbelt.

I brought it to the dealership to diagnose and they told me the seat belt sensors are fine, the relays are fine and they believe it is a problem with the under dash fuse panel and quoted me $750 to replace.

I wanted to ask the pro's here if they have ever heard of this, if they know what part # it is and if it should cost me 750 to repair.

I asked them to just disable it, but they told me the same part controlls the MID, oil pressure reading, etc so it would disable all of the above as well as the seat belt alarm.

Any thoughts or help is appreciated.
