ok... for those of you who have one of these pipes ON THE WAY.. and you will be installing it as soon as you get it... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE..
get a video camera or a good quality cell phone video - shoot some video fo your car all warmed up, BEFORE you install the pipe. shoot the following things:
1) Startup sound
2) idle sound
3) once warmed up, rev it up and down.. so we see how it sounds
4) if you can setup the camera somewhere, or have a friend hold it - do some drive by shots / rolling shots of the car - drive by at normal speed, then drive by and get on the gas as you fly by so we get a good idea what the sound is like on a WOT pass.
5) finally - do at least one interior video, even a short one, of how the car sounds from INSIDE when you cruise, and then gas the crap out of it and run it to redline..
if you shot all the above.. it would not take that long. then run home, install the pipe, then run out and shoot the same videos after the pipe is installed.
i'm really interested to observe how this pipe affects the sound/tone/etc of a car with otherwise stock exhaust. i enjoy the fact that my car is relatively quiet when I am cruising. I don't want my car to "sound modified".. meaning.. I don't want high school kids to turn their heads if I drive by... no fart can raspy exhaust for me.. BUT... i would like it to sound a tad deeper and more muscular. just enough that it sounds better.. but not enough different that it sounds like i bolted on an exhaust system..
based on what i've read, it sounds like this rV6 pipe woudl do the trick... but the videos will be the proof.
of course we wnat to know what the butt dyno says too!!

I'll see what I can do. My phone is a droid X and the camera is ok. My digital camera can't hold a charge but I'll attempt it with that.

Just got the Jpipe installed couple hours ago. I did noticed a improvement at take off and when suddenly slam the gas. I'll try to do another one inside a garage. Tell me what you think guys. This jpipe is a must to have for sure.

To give to you my humble opinion I only noticed a improvement on the performance, meaning now that I hit the gas I get a better response in the pick up line. I'll continue testing it in the next couple days and with better video. I'm pretty satisfy on the loudness of the exhaust with the jpipe as I was afraid it will be to loud. It don't sound like "Ambiguous626's " that's for sure but then again I've to test it inside a parking garage. My question to you guys that know more about exhaust and performance, now that I removed the CAT I noticed a good amount smoke coming from the exhaust while testing the jpipe. Is this normal or will it fade away. Don't want to make a trail of smoke while driving.

Did you test it outside? If so thats condensation, so with improved exhaust flow, you'll have more condensation while cold. I doubt you'll get more exhaust residue since the pre cats are still there.
As for my review when I first installed it, the performance is
From start to finish the car pulls REALLY well. Also when just tapping the gas the car goes. No more having to drop to lower gears just to pass people on the highway or anything. I did not notice a difference in the sound of the exhaust all of yesterday. BUT this morning I could hear a SLIGHT deeper tone to it. I mean very slight but nice
I will attempt to capture this on video. This is a must have mod for the RL guys
As for install, I could get the bolts off myself on my back in my driveway so I had to take it to my boys shop. Many of the bolts were very rusty so we heated them up and they popped right off except for one. We had to melt that bastard off and replace one of the studs in the precat (not a problem) But other than that install was as smooth as butter and everything fit like a glove.
