Rotora SS Brake Lines cheap

I paid quite a bit more for my SS brake lines and I felt it was good investment, after adding GranSport 6 pads, it was a GREAT investment as the RL finally felt like it's able to stop from triple digits without a "slide"

http://www.jdmhub.com/index.php?rout...duct_id=275526

haven't bought from the site before so exercise your normal caution.

Yeah, that's a bummer: a number of disatisfied customers.

well, considering that happy customers won't be posting as much...I dunno.

it's not a huge purchase so I'd probably chance it if I was in the market.

On the other hand I was considering coils...that I'll probably skip as it's an import and long wait. Thanks.

If someone comes up with a reliable site to purchase from, I would be happy to toss in on this. What about a group buy for lines and pads? It won't be long before I am going to have to replace my front pads again.

There are a set of pads in the sales section, jus an FYI.

I'd consider buying lines too.

I haven't seen the lines cheaper anywhere, as far as pads, these are a no brainer as far as I am concerned, I am on my 2nd set and I love them:

this is from Satisfied direct.

If I recall correctly, those prices look cheaper than the stock pads.

almost anything is cheaper than OEM and the braking part is very very good. Just make sure to replace all 4 pads at once. I was driving on 2 Satisfied front and 2 oem rear and I thought the difference was wow...but then I swapped all 4 at once...and the first time I needed to seriously brake I couldn't believe how fast it slowed down...

Great info sir, I hear ya on everything is cheaper than OEM... But when it comes to brakes I try to invest the extra dollar on the best product.

Is it safe to say that with a higher preforming pad comes a harder wear and shorter life on the rotor?

I dunno about wear on the rotor as I went with slotted rotors and 15k later they're all good. Mine are StopTech rotors.

if I had to guess, if you don't need more braking power there's no reason you should abandon oem.

My rear pads seemed like they would last forever...

I am always a fan of the thought that if you have to replace something you might as well upgrade.

the pads are now online and ready to be purchased @ ibrakeparts.com

Satisfied GranSport 6.

P.S. I don't get a comission but at least I'll know the heavy RLs will finally stop like real cars

it is actually very easy to make your own custom brake lines and they will most likely fit better to.

Hey, when you add up the two halves (JDMHub splits the kit into front and rear sets), it's about 30 dollars difference from Visionary Racing. Anyone know how the shipping works out? I ask because, sometimes, varied shipping fees can absorb or exacerbate price differences.

Consistent with my "don't upgrade 'til you wear out the old" ethos, I am finally preparing to replace pads, rotors and lines. Sadly, this has preempted my "need 24-inch spinner dubs" thing...

I went with Techna-Fit ss lines, via an eBay seller, about $100, shipped. They're in the mail, so review pending after my car goes faster, gets better gas mileage and stops like a poodle on velcro.

Link to auction I used, FYI, is here.

Gran Sports, based on your rec & review.

The lines appear identical to those in the old "Aftermarket Parts" thread, just $60 cheaper.

did you install 4 at a time? I thought the difference was crazy with just the fronts...but once I installed all 4...forget about it.

um...you did get like slotted rotors too right? I don't want you to burn the stock rotors.

All parts sitting in boxes:
--Gransport pads all 4 wheels
--Cryoslot rotors
--SS brake lines
--ATE Super Blue DOT4

To be installed after the Recall service, oil change and trans flush this week. Next month, tires and wheels. Month after that, have to find new chrome chin piece for grille and month after that, reach 100k miles.

Ha same with me! Brakes are for sure next step for me. Looking for strictly cross drilled though and having a tough time. Nice finds on the SS Brake lines.

I was just laughing because I realized my sway bar wasn't exactly "worn out"... so I guess I did that one for the hot women it attracts.

You sure you want cross-drilled rather than slotted/grooved rotors? Whichever you do, I found great prices at http://www.zeckhausen.com/ very happy on the rotors in terms of price, shipping cost and time to arrive.

MXM4...I had those on 3 of my cars, I have nothing good to say beyond being able to swap em out fast enough.

My current favorite all season is Continental DWS, followed closely by Michelin Pilot Sport A/S (which wins if snow traction is not required), and a distant third place is Bridgestone 960's which almost slammed my TL into a wall at 2mph on snow 1 day before car was to be sold.

My tedious tire and wheel musings are chronicled in the Tire/Wheel forum. I have recognized I can't afford the RJ's I want, but have to buck up for tires, too... so I'm thinking Pilots... but which?
