I'm amazed the RL found its way onto the Robb Report's radar. you owners should be proud.

Wow. That says a lot for the RL. Robb Report is a fairly prestigous mag and it's readers mostly consist of the upper crust.

Well, considering the kind of company that it was keeping in that comparison, it's pretty damn impressive. You don't often mention the RL and a DB9 in the same paragraph, much less in the same sentence. Impressive indeed.

But, I really meant the ones who buy a new BMW/MB/Lexus every couple years. I think if these people were to sit in an RL and drive it for a little while a lot more people owuld be interested in the RL. Many of the members here who purchased the RL had looked at the 5 series and GS (as well as the M) before buying the RL.

Not to sound too selfish, but I am not unhappy that the world is not beating a path to the RL. It keeps Acura working harder to improve things, the price is not out the window, and we get to gloat over those that spent much more for essentially the same amount of car. One of the big turnoffs of the Infiniti G and BMW 5 series for me was the appearance that everyone and their brother was driving one or the other (at least here in Southern California), and I wanted something a bit more uncommon, but still competitive with the others in the same category, for my hard earned bucks. I believe that I found those characteristics in the RL, so I am a happy camper. Let them eat cake.

Looks like the RL came in 2nd place, behind the BMW 760i. Pretty good since the RL is priced $25K lower.

What was interesting about the Robb Report article is that the panel of judges were impressed with the Acura RL. It just shows that with proper marketing, people can and will appreciate this awesome car, when they realize it exists.

In NJ, soooo many BMW 5's, MB E's and now a good number of Infinti M's. The only car that I don't see alot of is the Lexus GS, go figure...

As AcuraFox mentioned, for the same list of features found in other cars, saving some hard earned bucks is never out of style...

You're right. I was thinking of the 745i. I looked on the Kelly Bluebook site and the 760Li has a base price over $121,000, and then you can add another $9,000 in options. You could 3 RL's and have 18 cylinders instead of just 12.

I think a car that lists for $121K should have everything included. That's what I like about Acura - they don't try to rip you off with options like the other manufactuers.
