Dead battery for several days. Lost all electrical power and now I must reset the key, nav and radio codes on my 05 RL. I assume that I must first set my key code before setting the other codes. I have all the codes. However, I cannot find in my FSM the process for setting the key code. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

You looked in the online service manual in the 2G RL Garage? If not there, you may have to use the physical key, go the dealer, and have it reprogrammed.

 

Are you sure you have to reset the key code? I would think you just have to re-link the fobs.

 

getakey, you were indeed correct. Relinked through the door locks and I was ready to go to the nav and radio codes. Everything's complete and working. Thanks very much.
