reset oil life?

reset oil life?

Anyone know how to reset the oil life? i just took my car in for the brake recall and got a oil change as well but they dealer forgot to reset it.

I have the instructions to do this for the 3G TL. It should be the same type of process.

all you do is go to the oil life view and hold the center button down for 20-30 seconds and it will prompt you to reset

I did it recently. It is in the owners manual, but I don't have the page handy. It is in the maintenance section. Bascially the procedue is just as poppintec stated above.

You can download a manual from Acura. Go to Acura Owners Link. There are actually two manuals, the Owners Manual and the Navi manual. The quick start guide and DVD are also nice to have but not mandatory. You cannot download the last two items as far as I know.

Omg thanks I was goin to ask the same question and I too do not have a manual either sucks I downloaded one from my acura but it skipped a few pages... weird.. but anyways thanks for posting =)
