Recommended Bluetooth Option for iPhone

Greetings! Just purchased a 2005 RL and need some help with figuring out the best option/device for being able to play my iphone through the sound system. I've seen these two on a couple of YouTube video's:
  1. USA Spec PA15-ACUxl Y-Harness
  2. USA Spec BT45-ACI
From what I see, both of these hook into XM/Satellite unit in the trunk. Crutchfield told me they have a bluetooth unit that goes behind the stereo. It's something like a $185.

Any other options? Any better options?

Thanks,

Chris

Fixed.
  1. USA Spec BT-45Hond
  2. USA Spec BT45-ACU

Buy the USA spec and call it a day, if you get the type that plug on the back of the radio you will loose XM radio completely.

Thank you.

So the USA Spec BT45-ACU is connected to the XM receiver in the trunks left hand side?

I bought a 2005 RL in December and installed a USA Spec BT-45Hon. It was very simple to install. Yes goes in the trunks left side. YouTube game me an idea of how it all hooks up. You will not loose XM. You have XM1 and XM2, xm1 will be Bluetooth and xm on xm2.

Thank you.

Any ideas on adding a power supply somewhere? Trunk is fine with me.

Like a cigarette lighter outlet, 12v I think. There's one on the console, one in the console, would like to have one in the trunk...unless there's one I don't know it.

It's plug and play, draws it's power from the XM harness, no power source necessary.

the module came with a USB port (charging ONLY) so you can plug whatever USB cable you choose to.
