Best iPhone 5 option '06 TL w/nav
Hey everyone,
Just bought my first Acura today (have had 4 Honda's). I am an tech person and haven't used CD's in about 8 years. The TL I bought has an iDevice cable in the glove box (shielding is broken and wires are exposed) but it doesn't appear to work (at least with an iPhone 5 or 4S). I have an iPhone 5 and wanted to know what is the best option to get to work with it. I have read many things and it looks like the main two are iSimple and USASPEC. Is one better than the other? I may not need to get one if my local car stereo shop can get the one in it to work, but wanted to throw it out there and get some opinions in case they tell me it is hosed.
Thanks
Adam

I actually got the cable to work. For some reason it is controlled through the CD input. All I have found on the net indicated controlling it through the XM input. Though it won't charge my iphone 5. So I dug out my old ipod and put it in the glove box for now.
