Re http://www.oemacuraparts.com 05 RL parts

Most of you may already be familiar with this supplier of Acura OEM parts, however, for those of us who don't this online store is fantastic with discount prices, accurate and fast delivery and phone support.
I have placed and received 3 orders already from www.oemacuraparts.com for my 05 RL. Bullet proof packing, exact items as ordered with quick shipment and tracking info when orders are dispatched.
If you are looking for Acura or Honda OEM parts check this store out:

According to their invoice/packing slip Acura of Peoria, 9190 W Bell Rd, Peoria, AZ 85382.
They do international shipments which I have received without any problems.

Not sure if the OP's vendor is a sponsor here but Curry Acura has taken the best care of me over the years. I'm in Ohio and they're in NY = quick shippin and always free! They have never dropped the ball with me as other vendors have (DCH)

Tim is the online parts manager for Acura of Peoria, AZ. The dealer in Del Ray, FL is acuraoemparts.com. Curry Acura as gman mentioned is the other option for discount OEM parts.

However, Tim is a member here and sometimes runs 5% discounts. His shipping is free to AZine members IIRC.

Tim is the man. I ordered from him multiple times while I was an Acura owner. Yes, he's in AZ. Always happy to throw in a plug for him.

I contact him directly through the forums, doesn't get much more obvious than that. It depends on what you are ordering on whether or not you get free shipping. If you are ordering some really expensive small item that would cost him $6 to ship of course he is going to say he can give free shipping.

But if you are ordering a larger item that is not so expensive he will say sorry the shipping is too much best I can do is split it or he cant do it period.

Bottom line is they are making good profit either way especially since they have so many people ordering from them through the forums. But there is never going to be a case where they sell us something where they won't make any money or will only make a little money. So yeah, they aren't on the forums because they just love Acura/Honda so much and it is their life, they are on the forums because they make alot of money from all the people ordering through them.

They still have the lowest prices than almost everyone else, and if not they will match or beat it.

All I know is that he supposedly shipped an Aspec lip kit for free. I figured that would be a pretty expensive shipment.

I wanted to order a rear bumper, was going to split shipping with me but it was still going to be $50.

I passed on it until next summer anyway, hoping some idiot driver bumps me this winter.

Funny you should mention that because I have already been researching this topic. I am more worried about whats happening when I am not at my vehicle and it doesn't seem there are alot of options for this. I'll check out the thread.

Just ordered about 20 items for around $600 from them about 3 weeks ago,

lowest price i could find + the web site can get you Acura AND Honda parts (a lot of oem Honda/acura parts web sites are strictly for Honda or Acura....meaning i'd have to make 2 different orders from 2 web sites for all my stuff, but oemacuraparts.com made that simple for me to order in the same package CRV, S2000 and RL stuff )

didn't know about the Acurazine member shipping rebate, though i have found on Acurazine using Google, that there's a 50% shipping rebate on orders over $20 :
"galaga" is the promo code

It all depends on the order and what the actual cost to Tim is for shipping. When I went to buy my 500 dollar wood steering wheel and $100 weather mats the shipping was hardly anything so he got rid of the cost.

When I wanted to order some trim clips though that was going to run me $10 I had to pay shipping because it was going to cost them 5 just to ship that.

On a sidenote when I ordered my clips and received them one was missing, I called up and explained the issue, the guy was defensive at first and asked me to check because he said they double check that everything is there before shippinh, but I had just opened the box and put the clips on the table and it was not there, I explained that to him and he shipped me another one the same day.

Obviously they lost some money on that order, but it shows that they will correct any mistakes in the order they made.

You guys are making me read these threads by getting off topic

They make cameras that turn on when there is movement, so you can leave the cam in the car overnight like a game camera.

A friend of mine commutes and wanted the same thing.
It's a good idea but you would need 1 on each side unless you backed into a corner spot

If I do go ahead and do something like this I will probably go with a custom integrated solution using bullet cameras.
