Purchasing Advice

Hello Forum Members,

I'm new to this site but I have been periodically checking back and forth for quite some time now because I've been a big fan of the Acura Legend, as well as the Acura RL. Now that I'm in the market for a new (to me) vehicle, I've had my eyes on a couple of used RLs. The first one is a white, one owner that had about 111,000 miles on it. It's white with black leather. It seems that there is some maintenance history with it as well. The asking price is 9,977. Do you think this is a good deal? What should I look for with an 06 model. I'm curious because I have to drive to Texas from North Carolina soon and want to make sure there are no issues to worry about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have an 06 with about that mileage, and it is great. Just make sure they did the 105,000 maintenance (timing belt, pump), otherwise you'll need to sink another couple thousand in it for that. It is an absolute steal to get one of these RL's for $10k lIMHO. Oh, and I'd make sure the tires are fiarly new, because that costs another grand.

Do a search of the TSB's that were released for the RL and then just make sure they were all done in the service history.

Hey Indy Todd,
Thanks for the advice. I was also quoted for a 07 RL with 91k out of PA at a dealership for 14,143 with a clean service record and 1-owner. I was originally looking for an RL with black leather, but this one is silver/tan. It looks pretty good and I'm strongly considering it for the price.
