Pressing the "OK" in the Nav Screen

Whenever I start the car and need to press the "OK" on the screen, I have to do it twice for this screen to go away. The manual doesn't say anything about it. Has anyone noticed this?

Yeah I sometiems have to push it twice but if you push it in and hold it for a second it should only need to be pushed once.

At first, I too was pushing it twice ... Then I realized there was a slight delay (similar to unlocking the door). Now, I just press it once and wait for the next screen to appear.

I think it's just the delay.

If you don't press OK, the screen goes black in 30 seconds. You still have access to the music and climate screens. However, if you push the MAP button, the "lawyer" screen comes back too until you OK it away. So for my short trips I don't bother with hitting the OK.

Dredging up some history here....Is it possible that not hitting ok will make the screen go black if OK isnt hit after multiple cycles?
Im just grasping at straws trying to figure out why my nav screen has gone out.
Thanks

In the main 2G RL forum, there is a "search this forum" just above the subforums to the right. This will search all 2G RL threads including subforums. I typed "black screen" because quite a few people have had this issue.

FWIW, there is another "search this forum" below the subforums that will only search the main 2G RL pages.
