Pink NAV Screen

Hey all,
My wife absolutely loves her 2005 RL but recently the nav screen lost the ability to display green so now everything has a pink tint to it. I thought it was the screen, but replacing that made no difference. I read somewhere that the nav/DVD unit in the trunk may have a faulty video board. I'm fine with replacing that but it didn't seem to add up to me. Does the unit in the trunk really responsible for the video display? Could it be something else? I already spent time and money on the screen for no reason. I would like to avoid doing the same for the Alpine unit in the trunk.

Thanks!

Thanks olrac1. That was it! I can confirm for posterity that replacing the DVD/navi unit fixed the issue with the pink screen.
