A-Pillar Trim Broken

The other day I kept hearing a flapping sound while I was driving and my passenger was able to see the little molding piece between the windshield and body on the a-pillar flopping around. When I stopped, I noticed that the little piece that "clips" in is broken. The weird thing is that it is the same on the other side, too. I tried finding the part on oemacuraparts.com but am getting lost in the details. I also tried searching on here, but "a" gets thrown out and I end up getting results for every thread with the word "pillar" in it.

If the part is cheap I'll replace it. If not, should I just try using silicone sealant or something to hold it?

Inside or outside part? Can you install this yourself or does a glass shop have to do it?

Outside? This is the inside of the pillar. I'll be right back.

My widshield repairer broke the clips and temporarily glued the old ones back on until the parts came. I have them still in the boxes part no 73152-sja-a01za and 73162-sja-a01za. The glue is still holding fast a year later, the only issue is that it sits slightly proud and whistles over 110mph.

You know, I have yet to check how mine hold up over 110 mph. I better go do that!

What kind of glue? I don't drive over 90-95 mph, but I have a feeling you're talking kmh.

The glue was applied by the windshield replacement company, so no idea what they used I'm afraid. And I did mean 110 miles per hour and I also don't regularly drive at that speed so the whistling really isn't a problem.

Just used some silicone sealant. Hopefully that cures the problem. I'll report back if it's still good in a week.
