I picked up my carbon gray/taupe '06 RL (non-tech) in Ft. Lauderdale on Friday. My wife and I had time to bond with our car during the 1200 mile drive back to St. Louis. It's a marvelous automobile! Thanks to all of you for the information and ideas that helped make the decision easy! It's as great a car as you all have been saying!

Hey, good work, Jim! Per my sig line, I too have the excellent taste to have chosen a CGP/Taupe RL, so I can see how you would be happy with your choice.

It looks like you got the chance right out of the box to see what an excellent road car the RL is. We've done 4200 miles of cross-country in ours and it is one of the best highway cruisers I've owned. I'm sure you'll continue to enjoy it.
