First time poster here.

My dad has a 2012 RL and I will be driving it from Seattle to Palm Springs tomorrow. I'm not used to driving an Acura as I own an 02 Audi S6 so some of the features are foreign to me.

Does anyone know of a way to download a PDF of the owners manual?

I have found his Nav manual so I am set up there but I can't locate the owners manual, and I can not figure out what is needed to be able to plug an I pod or I phone into the Audio system and as we are going on a 20 hr drive I feel this could be handy.

Also, how do I program my phone into the onboard system?

Thanks in advance for any help and if you ever in need of Audi help I will be happy to return the favor.

Welcome, I'm not sure you are going to find the owners manual for the '12 on line.

I also would pressure the seller to locate it as it should be in the glove box.

there is a USB in the center console for music and you have to use the voice prompts to synch your phone.

Open the glove box, at the top there is a button that allows a drop down compartment with the owners manual in it. If that doesn't work then ask again on the forum, the 12 operation is just about identical to all the other years so there are plenty of human resources here.

 

If you register the car on MyAcura.com you will have access to online manuals, Feature Tips, etc.

Just wanted to say thanks for the above suggestions. We found the owners manual in its home as suggested. My S6 has a slot for its OM under the steering wheel so I should have known there was a place for it.
