Ooch! What to do?
Anyways, even if you replace the rear qtr, you still have to use some putty on the weld. Price goes to about $3500 with new qtr and bumper.
I'm going to see a friend of a friend at a custom shop on Saturday...will see where it goes from there.

First off... hondas are easier to fix stop ruining Acuras. LoL
Secondly try the dentless guy, a good body shop will weld pins on to the panel and try to pull it out before using filler.
Otherwise you'd have to cut that panel out and weld in a new skin.

^^^This post is correct. I would add a little...
The bumper will cost <$400 primed. I know a new front bumper cost $395 primed from dealership and $200 to paint.
Then make a body shop weld the pins in and pull all that out. A little filler, prime, paint, clear, buff.
You will have to be careful with the paint. You can't just paint the rear qtr. panel it will stand out. A good body shop will dust the rear door and fade into the front too. Afterwards, they will reclear the entire side.
Your $1350 quote is a good price if this includes everything I listed.

Thx for all the tips...gonna see what this guy sez tomorrow. He comes very highly recommended.
The quote was repair qtr, paint qtr to & include gas flap and blend in, clear whole panel down l/side over doors but not incl doors, repair & paint rear bump & splash gaurd. New parts were molding and bumper support/clips. Guy seemed knowlegable. (Sunbeam Autobody...the Geico recommended one in my area)
Thanks for the translation! Thought maybe it was a typo from OP, I guess I need to brush up on my street lingo.
Memo to self: Listen to more Kanye West in the RL.
Dentless is not going to work, it will get out 90% but take a close look at the bottom where the crease is in the middle- not going to happen. Sorry, but your going to get some level of bondo on there regardless if they fix or replace the rear 1/4. Just the way it is. Sorry for the misfortune.
First off, did she have insurance? If so, file a claim against her company.
Otherwise, do you like this person? If not, get the repairs done and then file a case in Small Claims Court against her (less than $2000 can be claimed, represent yourself...cases look similar to Judge Wapner). If she doesn't show, you win by default.

most of the quarter panel is PDR able.
I can probably get it out about 97-98%.
The bumper doesn't have to be replaced, just painted.
also remember, repainted car loses value, in ur case, about 500-1000.
If ur planning on trading it in, get a very experienced PDR guy to do the quarter panel (probably run u around 400-500).
Get the bumper painted by a high end body shop. (300-400)
Dealers use a paint meter and it only works on metal panels, not plastics or aluminum. So if its a good job on the bumper, they wont be able to tell.

I believe these rules differ from state to state. In Dallas if you get into an accident but there are no injuries, the police don't even show!
