Since most everyone has done the 09 wood center console. How about the rear bumper? On anyone's mind? Appears that the taillights, taillight ecu (?), bumper cover, decklid, trim piece, deck spoiler would be needed.

Have to take a closer look but they look the same at the taillight area. Just the bumper cover gives the impression that the rear 1/4 is different, I think.

Look carefully. When the '09 first came out, one of the claimed changes was to the rear quarters. Only the roof and doors stayed the same. I think the the sheetmetal on the 09 is different to accomodate the higher "kick" of the bumper at the leading edge of the tail-lights.

The trunk is certainly shaped differently, so I don't think the '09 bumper would be compatible with the 05-08 decklid.

Good info, eventually someone will give it a try. The price would most likely be prohibitive at this time until a few are totaled.
