Oem spark plugs
I have 106,000 miles on my 06....i think its that time to get new spark plugs changed based on the hesitation sometimes and i was told by Acura its about that time as well.
1. What is the OEM plugs needed for this car
2. Can i install them myself? I do have all the tool sets required for this job?
3. After installation is there anything else needed?
Thanks.

If you read the comments it sounds like folks are using either or. Maybe search a little more here on AZ or Google them and read comments on other sites?

Called NGK today and was pointed in the right direction: Installed NGK LASER IRIDIUM TODAY. Total time 1.5hrs. Purchased them from NAPA AUTO $10.69 ech. Much cheaper than Acura $14+

I see NGK Laser Iridium on rockauto.com for $9.66. That's where I bought them a several years back for my Chrysler and they have probably about 100k on them in that car right now. Rockauto also regularly comes out with discount codes, so you might search online for one before placing any orders.

I figured I would post something I found interesting. I work for a Honda dealer. I checked with parts and our cost, without any mark up, was close to $13. I found them for less at AutoZone. The only difference I can tell is that the Honda plugs come in a Honda box. I would love to know if there are any other differences, which I doubt. I just found it interesting that a Honda dealer has to pay more for a plug than a local parts store can sell them for. After the normal markup I understand why people complain what the dealer charges for plugs. Makes me wonder what a store like AutoZone pays for them???

Burning Brakes
I changed my plugs today, car just hit 100,000k. This was the first time I had ever changed plugs on a car. Took me an hour.
The fronts are simple, just remove the shroud over the radiator and for the plug on the right, I had to lift up the coolant reservoir, very simple. The backs weren't much more difficult despite what I keep reading around here. I only needed a 6" extension, no 3" was needed. I did not need to remove the power steering bracket. Clearance is tight, but not that tight. The hardest part of the job was releasing the back coil plugs, leverage is limited and it's a little tight. A little patience and I got it. The old plugs don't look so bad, but I think looked like they could benefit from due a change.
We'll see if there is a difference, but the engine seems quieter.
Here's a link to a pic of the old plugs...
