Hey gang!
New to the forum and to the Acura community.

I've been in love with the RL since the 2G body style came out. It is simply the best looking sedan on the road IMO.

Just purchased a 2005 RL, Prem White Pearl. Only extras on it were mud flaps (if they're even considered extras). Bought it for $24,468.00, with 37K miles. Based on some posts I've seen, I paid a little more than I should've. But, I had to have a vehicle to start new job (laid off in Nov and had company car).

Anyway, I won't bore you with any more personals. I'm loving the car, and hope to love it for a long time.

First newbie question:
What are some of the extras that I need to buy and can't live without, in your opinion?

Looking foward to responses.

 

new wiper blades, recommend going with PIAA sillicone. Next up the list is tires, I don't know what you got, but the stock tires are lame. visit tirerack.com to see the ratings on those, I personally went with Ultra High Performance All Season Category (Michelin Pilot Sport A/S)

Welcome! Great car. Not sure how far you want to go with extras, but the A-Spec Suspenders make a world of difference.

Congrats on purchasing the RL! We seem to think alike on the car..

The RL is an unbelievable car for the money and looks great stock, but could look unbelievable with just a couple goodies.. IMO!

High Performance Summer Tires
A-Spec wheels or other nice wheels, 18" or 19"
A-Spec suspension other, but this will offer a suble drop

then maybe the spoiler, bodykit, and uh, yeah...

the factory alloy wheels will probably start to piss you off when you see them on such a beautiful car everytime you walk up to it...
