Speaker help

Alright its about time I updated my speakers but im an absolute noob when it comes to car audio I have a 2nd Gen TL and I was just wondering which speakers I should get and what size I need. Im looking to spend nothing more than 250 as long as they sound okay i dont have a problem with that, I just need something better than oem speakers. So help me out here..

Sure,
Would you do the install yourself, or pay somebody else to do it? (Gotta figure out the right budget first )

Ok,
well, this are a step above the OEM speakers, and will work good enough with stock head unit, so you don't need to get an amp.

They're coaxial speakers, that should make installation simpler,
or you can go with a component system like:

Thisis just a modest upgrade from stock. If you want more, then you have to get an amplifier.

well right now i have an avic d3 for my headunit and a sub and amp in the back i was planning on going downtown LA to go pick up some speakers i just dont know what i should get. I dont really want a modest upgrade i heard mb quarts are pretty good i think i can get each for like 80 or so lmk what you guys think

Yep, they're good speakers. Always listen to them before purchasing if you can.
You should increase your budget to include an amp as well, because you won't really notice the MB's unless properly powered.

hrmm theres no way i can use the amp i have right now for the speakers too? also guys what size speakers am i suppose to get for the fronts and the rears much thanks

they should be both 6 1/2 front and rear... for future reference you could go to crutchfield.com and click "outfit my car"
