Please welcome me to the fold. I originally bought a 98 RL in 2002 with 39,000. Just finally gave up the ghost at 310,000. What can I say the 1st G are built like a tank. I just bought a 05 Pearl White, black interior, 72,300 miles. Hopefully I can pair my iPhone 6 to the Bluetooth. Have yet to read the manual Encyclopedia. I'm pretty excited

You should probably read up on the common 2005 issues so they don't sneak up on you, especially coming from a tank.

 

Welcome to Acurazine! Like 007 said, this forum will have all the info you need for your RL. You have a clean 05. I have the same color combo and I'm local. I'm in White Plains often.

 

To save you the hour of staring at the buttons and setup menus, the pairing functions only by voice. U press the talk button and say: help, or, available options, it will list them then follow instructions. Pairing command will be in the list.

I'm surprised because my 05 M3 has Bluetooth and it pairs just fine

 

It'll pair fine but you won't have bluetooth audio. Just phone audio so no music streaming.

 

I'm aware tried for about a hour and gave up , phone was in discover mode.. And the car did not find it ��

 

Did you say "pair"? There is no reason any iPhone won't pair unless your Bluetooth module is gone.
