I have a 2008 Acura RL with roughly 77,000 miles. I am third owner of the RL second owner replaced timing belt and did water pump as well at 45,000 miles about 8 years ago at an Acura dealer near me however, as of recently the timing belt tensioner seemed to go bad. I’m wondering if I should replace the whole timing belt and water pump again and might as well do the service or if replacing just the tensioner there should be fine.
The two Aisin kits (same fitment for your 08 RL) below from rockauto are a good choice to save $$ over OEM components; however, looking at the two pictures and the price intervals, the only obvious difference is the color of the pulley bearing 'rubbers' & maybe the belt markings?

The labor is the bulk of your cost. Might as well do the whole thing. The labor is the same + 30 min for a coolant flush once pump is changed. Change the crankshaft seal as well.
Get the TKH002 Zeta speaks of below.
