Navi semi lock out

A couple of days ago I went to use my Navi and noticed that I am completely locked out from using the left side of my 4 options, Heads up and Messages. I played around with it for some time, but I just can't get them to unlock, anyone have any ideas? I can still fully use my Navigation, but any help or ideas with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Does it say "Welcome Driver 1" when you start up the car? I think if the fob becomes unlinked to the memory settings, some of the Nav functions may be grayed out. Follow the instructions on the back of the fob to re-link it.

It does recognize the fob, says welcome driver 1, but it still locks me out on the two options. Maybe I will stop by Hinshaws tomorrow and see if they know anything.

If you're zoomed out too far, you can only use "north up." If you have no messages, you can't choose the option. In both cases, the choice will be grayed out. Could this be the case?

I don't believe that I have any messages, but I am not zoomed out to far on my screen, it is set at normal, but thanks for trying. It is just weird though, not sure what happened.

LL - you were right, I went and double checked my navi, although it seemed to be normal, it off set by one notch. Once I adjusted that, the heads up became available again, thank you for your tip, it was right on the money.
