NAPA AIR & Cabin filter VS OEM

Hello,

I wanted to know if the NAPA products are just as good as the OEM filters.
I am needing to replace them both and debating whether to get OEM or NAPA.

Thanks

Just swapped mine out for the NAPA AC Delco one. Fathers a mechanic and said there's no difference.

Honestly... the OEM filter is 20 bucks on amazon.
Spend the extra 10 bucks.

Napa generally makes quality products. Using their engine air filter will be fine. However, you could spend a little more and get a cleanable K&N. It really doesn't matter.

I $ the Napa cabin filter today $16.99 (Gold) and i must say the quality is better than the Honda product.

I also noticed that the Napa filter was made in Poland Vs The USA for the Honda.

Thanks.

Which part?

I don't believe for a second their claims to power increase, but I do take them at their word that their filters can be cleaned and reused.

I believe that opening the intake can increase throttle response and increase power if the vehicle can use the extra air.

But I am not sold on their "oil", nor their level of filtration.

You might be surprised at what you can get at Napa for an Acura. I just bought a tensioner for the power belt today, laid it side by side to the original I took out. You would think that this one I bought (made in Canada) was the one that Honda buys. It was a little over half the price of a discounted tensioner from a discount house that sells Acura parts. Even the dealer told me to get drive axles from Napa...New ones are not expensive. Go with Napa if you can, and OEM where you can't.

This is the one I use, slightly cheaper than NAPA...but not enough if you have a local store.

I use the Napa version with the charcoal layer "upgrade" and they've been just fine.
