Moonroof

Upon sliding moonroof switch toward rear- moonroof auto opened fully and stoped.
Sliding moonroof switch forward auto closed moonroof fully.
Pushing moonroof switch tilted up moonroof.
Now, moonroof only operates manually. Can't be sure when it is fully closed because if switch is held forward a split second past fully closed, tilt up occurs.
No combination of switch slides or pushes will restore the auto open or close.

Anyone know how to restore the auto open/close and subdue the tilting?

Thanks

Never heard of this. I guess you could try to disconnect the battery (as this seems to solve a lot of problems - like restarting your computer).

Keep in mind, though, doing this may require you to reenter your navi and radio codes.

Otherwise go to your dealer.

Thanks for the input. Scheduled for 1st service tomorow at the dealer. TSB's also to be done. I'll see what they say/do.

Hopefully I'm not going to be required to disconnect the battery to restore the auto open/close function each time I tilt up the moonroof.

I'll share the solution, if found, and also the outcome of TSB's.

Moonroof mishap

Just returned from picking up RL from dealer after 1st service. It seems the moonroof problem was solved after the TSB updates. They did 05-22 Acuralink & XM control unit, 05-027 Transmission upshift & 05-028 On-Star Control Unit. Upon drive back, all seemed well after re-programming XM radio presets. Transmission shifts seem improved but I only drove 15 miles.

Answer is here and you shouldn't have to disconnect the battery.
