Milage Check in!

Just wanted to see how many miles ya'll have put on your RL's. And if any issues have popped up as you get 'up there' in miles.

I have a Jun06 RL and just turned over 10K mi. I can honestly say that I think the car is running 'smoother' the more miles I put on it... transmission and engine seem to be breaking in nicely. As some people may have read from my other posts... by biggest complaint has been the rattles, most of which I've been able to take care of, but I keep getting new ones. Maybe when the warm weather arrives, the plastic will expand with the heat and things will quiet down.

Who's got the most miles??

Not me. I've got just over 6800 miles in just under six months. No issues I haven't caused myself. My customary full report will be coming in about three weeks.

6 Months 12,000 miles only probs are silver tabs on rear vents came off & XM wants to cut me off every 3 months. Had someone who could not speak engrish well on Sat tell me I only got 3 months & I asked why I had the car 6 months then he would not transfer me to a supervisor. On Sun got some one else who actually checked that the RL got a year & cut me back on. I was this close to getting sirius on sat.

Me neither. I'm "banking" miles on my '06 so I'll have plenty for some summer road travel (it's a lease), so I'm still just under 7,000.

I've had my '05 for nearly a year, and the current mileage is roughly 31,000 (I always have the outside temp on the MFD so I don't often check the mileage). The car had around 18,500 miles when I bought it last year. 30 miles each way back & forth to work plus one round trip from Northern Virginia to Orlando and another one to Key West last year.

7 months and 5000 miles here, no issues... except a rattle that only appears when the weather is warm from the passenger side dash/a-pillar area and the rear sunshade rattles sometimes. Not really a big deal.

Same with me, so I don't know exactly where I'm at. I think I'm around 12K on my '06.

Passenger door handle replaced as the locking feature on the "dimple" wouldn't work about 20% of the time, especially when wet.

An EXTREMELY minor rattle near the rear sunshade as well.

See my last post HERE

I did speak to a supervisor...who was as useless as the first person. I called my delaer and told him to take care of it. He did.

BTW, about 6,500 miles (4,500 or so put on by me since I bought the car in November).

Bought my '06 on Sept. 30, 2006. Now have approx. 10900 wonderful miles. Sunshade rattle fixed along with trunk lid liner replaced because of ill fitting nature - took 3 orders before one fit right.

Talking

Just hit 7 months today and 7000 miles on my drive home (I better buy a Lotto ticket! ). I had my A1 service a week ago. The only issues were the very slight buzz from the sunshade (they affixed felts pads & resolved) and a crackle around the shifter faceplate (ditto on the resolution). No TL-like issues! <happy dance>
