M45 driver likes RL better
i was walking back to my 2nd gen CL, when a guy sitting in a white M45 told me how much he loved the RL. he said that he used to have a RL and loved it. the M45's suspension was too stiff but he did like the bigger engine. more power?? the concluded by saying he wanted to trade his M45 for another RL again. so my 2nd gen CL is attracting RL drivers? just wanted to tell you guys that the RL is not that bad, and even a M45 driver wants to come back

I guess that there are courses for horses and certain cars for certain people.
Reading posts in the various badge forums, it appears that some love their cars, others find nothing but faults with theirs and then there are those who having never been close to a specific model expound opinions that denigrate that car.
The M45 and RL are two entirely different autombiles. Each offers the buyer excellent technology and luxury. The RL is sedate. The M45 is a powerful performer.
I have outgrown my desire to zoom down the highway taking corners at high speed. Instead, at this time of my life, I want a nice comfortable car and to be eveloped by luxury. The RL is one of those models that provide this kind of pleasure.
However, if it is simply the thrill of driving that one desires, the M45 beats the RL hands down.

As for the quirks...every car has quirks. Hell, nothing in the world is perfect/ quirk-free.

Agreed. Not everyone has the same definition of performance. Not all of us bow to stats as the definition of performance.
