Talking Legend KB1 - Short Review Video From Tsuchiya of BM

Hey guys I was going through my BM (best motoring) collection. For those of you who don't know BM is the premier car show in Japan. There reviews are usually very technical and in alot of depth.

They are hosted by the drift king himself aka Keiichi Tsuchiya (more on him here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keiichi_Tsuchiya).

I ripped this small section where they do a quick drive of a Legend on the track. Very nice praise from Tsuchiya, which coming from him really means alot. Also shown is Spoon's president - Mr. Ichishima

Enjoy -

Keiichi-san apparently has good taste as that Legend is his daily driver. The handing is sugoi, indeed.

LOL, can you imagine drifting an RL?

Thanks for the clip.

Great find Touge. Hearing these comments provides additional praise to SH-AWD and Honda's engineering.

I personally seen this car at South Coast Acura (Costa Mesa CA), during a Premier/Spoon launch party.

It sure is a full blown race car. I wonder how it performs though? BTW thanks for sharing.

The Spoon RL was at the 25 hours of Thunderhill in December 2005. It finished 54th because of electrical problems after it hit debris on the track, then engine trouble. .

Here's the AZ thread on it from a year later, in December.

The Spoon guys got it down to 2700 pounds.

The car was back in action in Dec 2006 at thunderhill, looks like they made some changes. This time around it did very well. Check out the new exhaust they are using -

Its functional too. Its to prevent the bumper from getting dark from the exhaust waste .

Interesting to see the Legend/RL in that video...Happy to say IMO the front end of the Acura version of the car is by far better looking than the Honda version. Now if we can just get those Legend emblems!!!!!!!!!!!! In the beginning I was really just thinking of getting it to have it, but now I am really considering putting it on the trunk! I guess I think it may be an eye catcher, especially here in San Diego...
