I agree. I seems that when HID's came out you could identify the high end cars that had them and then it went objectionable with every ricer out there installing 100w 6500K incandesant blinding lights. Then we had the LED DRL's in the high end cars but now numerous manufacturers are trying their hand by adding them. Some of them are tastefully done but most, if not all, aftermarket installations wreak of ricer again.
LED DRL's are here to stay but the over-design of some of the manufacturer designs is getting OTT.
I do, however, quite like the Legend installation although the parking sucks!

Thank you all, I can public some photo how I made this, if you interested in it.
Sorry for my English.

P.S. I still have a problem with connection DRL to original harness. The DRL relays is absent in my version of Honda Legend. So I connect "+" to the relay blower motor engine. And now DRL still light about 5-7 min after ignition off. Can somebody help me?

Was there any connection instruction with those lights?
Some of them what are for sale here, have those special connection boxes what you use to connect them, for example like this:
You connect those led lights to the box and from the box goes the + wire to the battery and other one to the parking lights, system senses (volts gets higher than normal battery voltage) when you start the car and lights up the leds, when you turn on the lights it gets signal from the parking lights and shuts them off.

I agree...BMW started this whole 'fad' with the Angel Eyes in 2001...and now we've progressed to LEDs....the whole thing is getting lame -- you know its lame when you can get them on a KIA.

By DRL, do you mean your LEDs? You posted the reason yourself. You connected the power to your cooling fans which run for a short time after the car is off. If you want to change that, you will need to find a different place for the power that will turn off with the car. Fuse 21 of your under-hood fuse box is only on when the car is on. There are others to choose from as well.

Looks cheap IMHO. I think we will look back on the 10's and laugh at ridiculous fads like these.

Thanks for advise! I think I tryed all of the fuse and relays at under-hood fuse box. But all of them active all the time.
My be it will be better to continue on another thread? Because my problem should not hamper the owner of this topics.
