Glad they worked out for you!

As for the other bulbs from JLC, other varioius websites and eBay, I did look into all of those as well. Reviews on them were mixed everywhere. Many said they did not provide sufficient light output to actually be used as high beams. One of the reasons I was convinced the V-LED bulbs with the Cree MT-G2 LED's would have a good shot was through test results like this one:

http://budgetlightforum.com/node/12919

3,000 lumens is a shit load of light output. Literally 50% more than a standard halogen bulb. I also know that V-LED's stands behind their products and always puts out the highest quality LED products in the industry.

Honestly, I've always been an avid supporter of buying eBay/Amazon LED lights in the past. Recently, (before I ordered the DRL's), I ordered my first pair of LED bulbs from V-LED's. After having 2 different sets of LED license plate bulbs flicker out on me, I was sick of taking apart the trunk lid to replace them and decided to V-LED's a whirl. I figured if I spent $20 but it kept me from having to replace them again, it was worth it. I was impressed with the product enough that I was willing to take a $170 gamble and try these bulbs as DRL's. I'm also waiting until there next sale and I'll be replacing all of my eBay LED bulbs with their 6k LED's BTW.

Also, here are some day time pictures I took and just haven't gotten around to posting. I will try to get some high beam output pictures tonight.

Just FYI guys, V-LED's is running a 25% off sale this weekend. Probably the best price you'll ever get on these bulbs. I'm putting together an order to replace all of the bulbs in both of our cars with their bulbs.

There are no issues with the larger boxes on the 3000LM kit, just so you know. I double side taped mine to the frame underneath the plastic panels and they are completely hidden and out of the way. Do let us know how the 2100LM bulbs work as high-beams. The 3000LM version is more than enough light output but, the way I see it, it's not really possible for your high-beams to be too bright.

I definitely took advantage of the 25% off sale. I ended up ordering V-LED replacement bulbs for every bulb in both the RL and the TL. I almost ordered the Triton LED system for my reverse lights to replace the Cree bulbs I have now. I'm still thinking I'm going to put a mini-HID conversion into my reverse lights though.

I'm not worried so much about running larger boxes or higher lumens. liked that the 2100 set had the boxes that were more in-line capacitor size and did not have to be mounted. Also the set spoke of a new design with a more focused led light output. At the end of the day, if its brighter than stock and not blinding to oncoming traffic. I'm sold on it.

Yeah I bought a set to replace the DRL/Hi beams in my rl and a pair of fog lights in my santa fe during the 4h of july sale

Will keep you all updated once i receive

Like I said before, I ordered all the bulbs from V-LED's to replace every major light in both the RL and the TL. I have the bulbs for but have not yet changed the lights in either car's glove box, the TL's vanity lights and the RL's coin tray light. I took this picture while I was changing out the TL's bulbs. On the left is a generic eBay 5-LED 6k 194 bulb. On the right is V-LED's 6-LED 6k 360 degree bulb.

Any update? Did you get a chance to get the 2100 lumen set installed?

I just bought these for $110/pair:

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Cars-...954132807.html

Installed last night and they work great. I don't see any difference in the specs between these and the VLED offering. Free shipping via ePacket and got them in about 7 business days all the way from China. Not bad.

I have the 2100 lumen setup in my TSX now but am very tempted to upgrade to the 3000 lumen setup and move my currents units down to the foglight housings.

can someone post a link to the latest and greatest drl bulbs? or is that first link the one?

I see these at 2100 lumens
http://www.vleds.com/shop-bulb-numbe...5-5k-mtg2.html

or these 3000 lumens
http://www.vleds.com/shop-bulb-numbe...g2-3000lm.html

If 2100 is good enough I would definitely prefer those at $130 haha.

I can't speak about the 2100's but I have the 3000's from V-LED's and they are sufficient. I think it's better to spend the little bit extra and do it right the first time. Honestly, the difference in price is equal to a tank of gas.

I agree with you 100%. Spend the extra money and get the 3000 lumen. I was one of the first people to purchase this setup about a year ago and the 2100 lumen was the 1 and only option. 2100 lumen units are terrific and have great output. Very bright in the day and great for flash to pass. Light up the road as high beams. I want to switch my fogs from halogens to LEDs/HIDS so this a perfect excuse.

actually sounds perfect because i rather not have my drl too bright, would you happen to have a pic of the 2100 high beam at night?

Maybe a better question would be is the 2100 high beams equal to or brighter then our stock high beams?
