Just Replaced AC Compressor- still not cold- what next?

Afternoon RL owners. I've searched the threads and not found an answer. Hope someone can assist.

2006 RL with 111K miles

This past Friday picked up car from shop after dropping too much $$ on new:
Compressor
Stator
Dryer
Evac

Basically all the AC parts.

The system blows cool air now, but not cold and actually feels humid-like the air here in VA. Also when headlights on at night the Auto and Dual dash buttons do not illuminate. Related?

So, any suggestions on why the cabin isn't getting cold and are the dash lights being out related?

Thanks in advance for any guidance/assistance

Update to my post, as I could not figure out how to edit.

The replaced A/C Compressor, Expansion Valve, Receiver Drier.
They also did a system Evac & Recharge.

The climate control bulbs are unreliable in the 2005 and 2006 models. They were replaced in the future models. There is a DIY on how to fix them. They do not correlate.

To edit, there will be an "edit" button next to the "quote" button of your post for 15 minutes after posting.

As for your A/C, I think the only thing left is what controls the A/C. Something between your climate control module and your thermostat is not communicating correctly I would guess.

Have a similar problem with my RL (95k miles), dealer told me it may be the clutch and stater, but since you replaced it and didn't have any improvements I'm guessing it might be something else. I typically have to have my fan speed on four or higher to get it to blow cold air (with the temp no higher than 70, on humid days I have to put it on 65), haven't had time to investigate but if I come up with anything I'll post.

oo7 is probably right, that's the only part left to change I believe...?

The stator is historically the best place to start from experience here. There are a few threads on symptoms and repairs. A search on "stator" in the RL forum should bring them up.

ISSUE RESOLVED.

007Spy thanks for the DIY heads-up. I'll look for info and start that project. Just heard from shop - they fixed the issue. Now low gets the vent temp down to 52 degrees - that the RL AC I'm familiar with.

So the issue - after performing 2 evac & recharge....took out excess oil/dye which they state "allowing expansion valve performance to improve"

Thanks again!
