Jack Point - Rear Subframe?

2012 RL....can I safely use what I *think* is part of the rear subframe (the boxy looking silver cross bar piece with the three holes and barcode sticker on it that runs from wheel to wheel between the rear diff and the black swaybar in the pic below) as a central jack point with my hydraulic floor jack to jack up the back end of the car, versus using the two separate jackpoints on each side at each corner? Going for the driveway winter wheel changeover soon, and it's easier/faster if I can get both back wheels off the ground at the same time :-)

No reason why you can't but there should be a tow hook closer to the back that is the official jack point for the rear. Do you see it?

I would use the loop on the back as mentioned above and two jack stands.

Yeah I do see the hook right in the center under the edge of the back bumper - however the surface it mounts to under the car doesn't really seem all that flat and I'd almost think it was just the sheet metal of the underside of the trunk floor or something - kind of seems like just a panel or hollow surface or whatever that it is attached to under the car when you tap it with your knuckle or a wrench? Although I guess that wouldn't make sense since the tow hook has to be mounted to something strong enough to withstand towing the car?

If its a bad spot I have been doing it wrong for the last 10 years.

Now that I think about it, thats possible... but it works.
