Can't find jack and jack stands on the same jacking point
Hi there, new user here. I feel very dumb for this problem but can't quite figure it out.
On the 97 CL 3.0 there are the 4 jacking points on either side front and back, they are small rectangles maybe 3 inches long or so.
My problem is, If I use my hyd. jack on the point, no matter how I position it, after I jack up the side I cant fit the jack stand under the point as well because of how wide their base is.
I've seen in pictures that people jack up the car on the jacking points and then place the stands next to the jacking points, but I cannot figure out where because the surrounding area (I've been attempting this on the front end) on both sides is just plastic, as far as I can tell.
Is there a spot next to the jacking points that i'm missing? Or another place I can put the stands?
