It's been fun...

Well, today was the day I let go of my 06 RL. It's a sad, sad day. Car needed too much work and the rust took over (door handles and rear quarter)
My mechanic called me and told me to stop putting money into it. It's been one thing after another. It's been an enjoyable 360,000kms and I had learned a lot from people on this forum, so thank you!!

Now to car shop!

360K kilometers is a great run! Sad to see her go but on to other things! Have you though about replacements?

At this point, not really.my wife has her RDX, I have a motorcycle and work from home so I have plenty of time to shop around.

Was eyeing a 2012+ TL AWD 6 speed but I dunno. So many options out there.

Ya, she got bit hard by the door handle rust. Finding a parts here to replace the front doors was next to impossible.

The engine was still strong as was the transmission.

I kept some parts for resale.

There's no such thing as a third generation RL. Do you mean a 2009-2012 "KB2" RL, or an RLX?
