Interior Door Trim Panel

I have reviewed the different posts on this forum regarding the removal of trim door panel and cant seem to remove the panel. Following the instructions of the previous posts, i have removed the three screws - one by the interior door latch mechanism, at the top of the door handle and the one above map pockets. I have also removed the clips from their anchors around entire door. When attempting to lift the panel up and away, it still seems connected in the center of the panel. I looked for another screw and did not find one. Is there something i am missing? I do not want to exert too much force for fear of damaging the panel. Thank you in advance to my fellow members for any assistance they may offer.

Currently driving a 2011 RL and love the car. Regrettably the door handle screws have caused substantial rusting in the metal around the door handle. Attempting to effect some repairs and need to remove door panels first...

The clue always lies in the pictures.

This panel does not need to be lifted.

I watch this video prior to submitting my first post. As in the video, I have removed the three screws and disengaged all the clips. However it seems to be attacked in the centre of the panel somehow. I do not want to apply too much for us for fear of damaging panel. Just wondering if any other members encounter this situation and if there was a resolution. With thanks

I think with the 2009+ RL, there's a lift-up panel in the base of the cutout in the arm rest for the door pull. There is probably a screw under there.

Thank you for your insightful response. After further probing, i was able to locate the bracket and screw which is anchoring the panel. There does not appear to be an access point from the face side of the panel though. Would you be able to clarify location? Many thanks.

Mounting bracket with screw.

I think it's under the door-pull pocket in the armrest. There may be a cover that pries up to reveals the screw (sorry this is upside down).
