I need wheels

I tried a couple different wheels but not fitting, I have 1 set I threw in there just cause they fit. Any suggestions on how I can find a set KNOWING they will fit without spacers? Any help is appreciated!

you have to know what the stock wheel specs are.
then, use math to figure out how far the proposed set will either stick out or be sunken in.

It seems like only concave wheels fit, but I'd like to get some kind of lip if possible. Maybe bigger would give more clearance? What's the biggest u can go?

stock wheels are 17x8 +55, I believe.
bolt pattern is 5x120

then use an online wheel offset calculator to calculate how far in or out the new proposed wheels will be.

use the online wheel offset calculator to determine how far in or out the new wheels will be.

then, you can use a ruler or measuring tape on your current wheels to visually see.

Wheel specs do not cover the thickness or shape of the spoke. Since offset is from the hub to the edge of the wheel, a thicker spoke wheel (or one with concave shape) may not fit even if the offset is the same as a thinner spoke wheel.

Numbers alone cannot guarantee fitment.

The first set I ordered didn't fit because of the thickness/shape of the spokes. Same measurements of the other rims I test fitted and same measurements of the rims I currently have. That's why I have the wheels I have now. Unfortunately, there's no "hey order this offset and it'll work".

Maybe you can get the shop to order the rims and if they don't fit send them back...

Yes I had them send 2 sets back already and I actually felt bad giving them a hard time cause they wanted to use spacers but I'm not ok with that and guys in the shop even said they didn't advise it. All measurements was same.
Stock rim is 17x7.5 35mm positive offset.
I thought some RL owners would've known of some suggestions.

modding is personal.

wheels are very subjective, get what you like but also get what fits.

you can also go through past threads here on acurazine to pick out wheels that you like and that fit.

Not on the RL. The TL wheel is (edit: not) 7.5". The RL is 8".

Look for brands that cater to BBKs. 90% of TSW wheels will clear the front calipers. RonJon, like heavy mentioned, caters to Honda and Acura products and will give a manufacturer guarantee.

Did you bother looking in the Tires, Wheels and Suspension sub-forum?

Hmmm... I guess I was confusing that the TL Aspecs are only 17" while the RL are 18". In any case, the OP does not have stock 7.5" wheels. Edited my post too.

According to Bob, the RL offset is +55. Post 5 corrected.

So what's the actual size from a stock 2nd gen? Shop told me 17x7.5 +35, some say 17 8 +45, +55. Here under suspension it says 17 8 +55.

justn said 45 and he was going off of the TL. Trust Bob. He says 17x8 +55.

Your shop is 100% wrong.

He might have mistaken but they do know their sht, he said it's an issue with Lexus and Acura big brakes. I told him 1 buddy's TL had no problems but my other buddy same TL as buddy 1 has the same problem I have. He told me something I never knew, he said 1 must have a manual or typeS and the other automatic and he was right so he must know a little something about Acura's. All I ever owned was Acura's and I never knew that

John, i checked out the MRR - GT1 wheel and it comes in two widths in the 20" designation.

so you have a 20x8.5 and a 20x10.

and then you can choose offset.

this means; you'll need to play with the offset calculator I linked above to figure out where the perfect offset you need to be at to be flush.

not gonna lie; its a lot of fucking work choosing wheels.
and you already messed up your first set, so I advise you to keep looking at the wheel thread that 007spy linked till you can recognize how flush the or how sunken in the wheel will be with the offset provided

TL;DR
Study that thread till you're dreaming about offsets.

18" x 8" (5 x 120 with a +38mm offset) and an exclusive 64.1 Acura hub centric center bore.

19" with the same specs but with a +32mm offset but 38 will clear the calipers:
