I need help settling an argument with my wife!
I was commenting last night on these cars, our beloved RL's being a great car for younger folks to go into and my wife began to argue saying that I was probably the youngest one on this board! I said no way and thus the fight was on... so I now need your help to get back in the house.
I am 30 and have had my Bella Noche for four months now. I think there are quite a few younger folks on here and would love to prove it. Let me know if you can so we can average out the age and I can sleep in my bed again!

LOL, sorry for the laughing but i can't believe your wife got angry over that. I think there is a tread stating the ages of the RL owners. Search is your friend. LoL not mine. Also i believe Ambiguous and Blazing are the 2 youngest RL drivers?

I just turned 26.
It's funny, my girlfriend has said the same thing before...and since, I've been looking close at the driver of every 2nd Gen RL I see, and I must say, down here in South FLA, at least 90% of 2nd gen RL drivers appear to be "elderly".
Prob one reason why our mods cost so much - because the vast majority of RL buyers have no inclination or interest in modding thier car, and I'm sure there's a connection between the age of an RL driver and whether they mod their car...imo, of course.

Media Mogul, you need to let her know who pays the bills around here and smack her around. Also, this sounds like a good episode of COPS where you both go to jail arguing over your car... and the cop says something patronizing.

You've got a point, but I see many more people my age driving new/er BMW 3 series, Audi A/S series (and have seen plenty have have been nicely modded, therefore, the $ may not be the main factor) or even Infiniti's M-class over the RL - perhaps it has to do with the reputation/chick-getting-ability of those cars haha, who knows, but down here it seems like 99.9% of RLs are not modded and driven by older folks...just sayin...

The only people I see here in North/Central FL driving RL's are at least 50 years old. :\
Also, I'm 24.

I'm averaging 1 compliment every day or so on my RL... more so since I changed out the wheels to A-Spec. But some of the compliments really surprise me, just cuz of the broad age spectrum who appreciate it.. Some guy in his late 30's spotted me pulling into a gas station. I felt like his eyes were locked on me car as his gf/wife walked into the gas station.. He rolled down his passenger window and started hollering.. "WOW, that car is beautiful! What kind of car is it? I just never seen it.." ...and that my friends, is one of the MANY reasons I bought the Acura RL.
But I've received many compliments from younger people in the late teens, too.
Makes me feel very special that I'm NOT driving a TL cuz I see probably about 10-15 of them a day.... And those too have all sorts of different ages driving em.. but they're good quality cars, so your gonna get all ages. Kinda like an Accord.

I see mostly younger and middle-aged people driving RLs. Not so many "older" people. That is, when I see an RL, which is still infrequent.

While I'm not the youngest person that drives an RL, most other people I see appear older than I am. But that's only when I see another RL. I'm not really 35, like my S/N says. Don't know how that happened?
My son, who is now 18, wanted my RL when I considered getting an 09 TL SH-AWD. But, I backed out. I love my RL too much.

I'm 25 and am considering picking up a 05-06 RL. Price is definately right, I remember back in 2003 when I picked up my TSX I was blown away by the RL and the list of standard features it had for the price. I couldn't afford it then but I can get a used one now.

Well thank you for all of the responses including yours deadeye! Well, I think that there are number of great points made here:
1. TL's are a dime a dozen, the RL is rare i.e. more valuable
2. I don't get noticed by the cops as much
3. The price for new ones is usually what pushes these to an older demographic
4. If we all got together, we would have one bad@$$ RL Army!
Thanks again for all of the posts, she is just jealous of my new Elena!
