The other night on the way home I hit a coyote ( I was doing about 55.) The coyote dashed to the middle of the road in front of me and I thought i was going to miss him when he darted back and I hit him with my right side. The bumper is cracked, fog light obliterated. The Power Steering cooler was pushed into the a/c condenser. There was PS fluid and coolant leaking. I am not sure the condition of the radiator. By the time I got home the temp gauge was at 7/8 but never hit the red area. Fortunately it was elevated for just a short while. The engine starts fine and the car moves fine. They will come tow it tomorrow to the body shop. Any advise?

 

My advice is to call your insurance company and take it to a shop that can do body work and the mechanical.

Body shops dont usually do both, so if it needs to go to the dealer then so be it.

I hit a small animal and fixed most of the damage myself only to find that an AC line had a small crack and leaked down a week later.
