I have to believe that he is trying to sell mousepads and doesn't care less about insurance rates. As numerous people have said, "Call your Insurance agent" if you want insurance rates or call a plumber if you have a plumbing problem.

My 2005 costs approximatly $1070 yearly for full coverage with extended limits($100/300K). This is in central Florida. Your location will be a big determining factor. Also your credit score will effect your rate. Call a insurance company for a quote.

It is impossible to baseline insurance premiums in this manner.
As mentioned by several posters, the car alone does not baseline auto insurance premiums. Many factors are factored into those quotes, age, driving record, sex, marital status, location, miles driven, education, occupation, credit scoring, where the car is parked, your home zip code, etc. There are also many elements of assessing premiums that insurance companies dare not reveal for fear of civil rights violations.
If you do not want to speak to an insurance agent for a quote, you can go online via various online vendors and get competitive quotes from various insurers. You need to fill out your expected policy parameters along with various personal details. Chances are that information has already been collected and stored somewhere on the Internet already.
